Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just doesn’t slow down. With 26 points (8/15 from the field) against the Blazers, he powered OKC to their 20th win of the season and moved up to second place all-time with 93 straight games of at least 20 points. The only player ahead of him: Wilt Chamberlain with 126.

Not an unreachable milestone for Gilgeous-Alexander – not anymore. It might have looked that way a year ago when the Thunder star began this record streak, but certainly not now. Even his teammates wouldn’t be surprised. Jalen Williams, recently back from wrist surgery, spoke about SGA’s relentless work ethic.

Seeing him work on his body and his game in such a maniacal way this past summer didn’t really shock me. He works incredibly hard, he outworks opponents… but I never take it for granted.

Shai was a decisive factor in the road win against Portland – a tight battle (+2 with 2:08 left) that was only sealed in the final moments.

Thanks to another record-setting performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC improves to 20 wins in their first 21 games of the season.
